We™™ve owned many dehumidifiers because none seem to last more than a few summers. So before buying yet another, I immersed myself in research on how they work (or should work), troubleshooting techniques, and buyers™™ reviews. Frigidaire was the clear winner. I bought two, one for me and one for a family member. When I took my Toshiba to the landfill, there were many others already there.

Works great !! Within 24 hours my basement humidity went down from 76% to 56% humidity level 48 hrs down to 45% on and off now because setting is set at 45%. I have had good success the last 20 years at work we use them on our storage room. We have a total of 15 Humidifiers.

After reading the instructions, I placed it in our indoor swimming pool room, plugged it in, turned it on, set the humidity level, and this morning there was no condensation on the windows even though the temperature outside was in the 40s. Exactly what I was hoping for.

I™™ve got 4 models: 20-80 pints, and bought a non-Frigidaire unit and it™™s not as good. I live in California in an old adobe house and all the units combined produce 5-8 gallons water/day. I use one in a bathroom while taking a shower and it™™s amazing. If you™™re getting a dehumidifier buy Frigidaire, as they are the best.

This is the ONLY Dehumidifier that I will buy. My old one, that lasted 9 years in our basement, worked great until we had a power surge from our electric company and fried it as well as a few other appliances of ours. The new one is essentially the same with improvements. It has a larger tank and does a great job as the old one did, accurate gauges/settings, no leaks, and after a quick check is more efficient than our older one

I bought two of these units and both stopped working after about two years. EC error code and frozen coils persisted after several attempts to reset and clear the code. Cleaned coils and filter several times with no luck. They're both where they belong. In the trash.

We have a finished basement and never saw the need to get a dehumidifier because we never noticed any musty smell or water build up, but after 4 years, it caught up to us. The smell got pretty strong until we finally decided to purchase a dehumiifier. I was skeptical, but WOW. Within 24 hours the smell was nearly gone. In 24 hours we had to dump the bucket twice. So satisfying! Very happy with our purchase.

With a very rainy and humid NC summer season, we developed some strange mold growing on the drywall of our garage. I cleaned it off with a mold removing product, it grew back, then a bleach/water solution, still coming back within a week or two. That was a total pain and very stressful and time consuming. I ordered a de-humidifier, very reasonable price with free shipping, and it has worked like a charm! Easy instructions and set-up. At first I had to empty the water reservoir several times a day to get all the moisture out of the garage, and now I have the humidity level set at 50%, and just empty it once a day. No sign of mold returning! Such a relief, so happy with my de-humidifier.

So far so good! Packing & pre assembly outstanding. Ease of use & convenience is great as well. Only comment I would mske is to add a continuous drain tube to initial pkg. I was fortunate I am able to reuse one from my prior unit.

It has been running for about two weeks straight. You can tell the humidity in the basement has decreased. I hope it lasts a while. People seemed to have mixed experiences with longevity of the unit

I've owned three of these machines over the past 15 years. Everyone of them have lasted on average 4-5 years. For this reason I always purchase an extended warranty. I recently had to replace my machine under a warranty sold to me in March 2024. The company that handles their extended warranty service is a joke. The standard and response to a problem is "You will hear from us in 7-10 days on how to receive instructions" I was told this on 5 different occasions before getting satisfaction. The machine is very good, the customer service is terrible.

It is unbelievable how much water it is getting out of our house. We used Damp Rid for years and still saw mildew. This dehumidifier gets more moisture out of our house in a day than a truck load of Damp Rid would.

This is the third Frigidaire dehumidifier that we currently have operating in three different homes. The oldest is several years old and has never given us an issue. Operates beautifully and does a great job at keeping the humidity at our set level. We have a drain hose attached to all of them which makes it so much easier, no emptying the water basket!

The dehumidifier is working; however it don't seem to shut off after the set humidity is obtained. I tried calling the 1(800)374-4432 number but after 5 times I still can't get thru. Forget support cause it is not accessible, no one available by phone, no chat tech, and no email. It only gets 3 stars for this reason

I bought this to keep my damp crawl space dry. This unit works great and it is quiet. I connected a hose to the unit and have it drain into a small condensation pump. It took less than 2 days to get the humidity from 90% to 55% in a crawlspace about 1000 square feet and 5 feet tall. To see how much water the unit was extracting from the air, I had my condensation pump empty into a 5 gallon bucket. In 2 days it extracted almost 15 gallons of water. I have had the unit for about one month and so far it is great.

This is my 3rd Frigidaire dehumidifier. My first and second one stopped working just before the one year warranty ran out. A known ™EC™ error code appears and stops the unit. Hoping that this unit lasts longer. Not confident though because it™™s the same model as the other units. We shall see!

Don't buy this product. My first one developed a code that could not be fixed so I was sent a new one. The second one developed a code that could not be fixed in less than one year after receiving it. Frigidaire would not replace since they counted the first one as when the warranty began. Very poor customer service

So far, the dehumidifier is working well. It is very easy to set up and is holding the moisture level to where it is set. I like that you can also set the fan speed. I also like that it shuts off when it reaches the level it is set at. It cuts down on the sound and saves electricity.
